My Story
Kristen “Krizi” Jackson is a Houston-based audio engineer, production sound professional, composer, and founder of It’s Krizi’s Productions, a creative audio company specializing in recording, post-production, production sound, and music composition for music, film, and commercial media.
A graduate of Houston Community College’s Audio Recording Technology program and a U.S. Army veteran, Kristen brings both technical expertise and real-world industry experience to creative education and workforce development initiatives. Her professional background spans studio recording, on-location sound for film and media productions, audio post-production, sync-focused music composition, and independent creative entrepreneurship.
Through her work, Kristen is passionate about creating accessible pathways for underserved communities, emerging creatives, and aspiring audio professionals to gain hands-on industry experience, mentorship, and career development opportunities. Her mission centers on bridging the gap between education and real-world application by helping creatives build sustainable careers within the entertainment and media industries.
